According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Cease fire in Gaza 42 Palestinians were killed and 107 were hurt in the last 24 hours.

There are loud explosions going off in the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps while Palestinian children are being vaccinated in Deir el-Balah. These camps were not included in a humanitarian pause in the fighting or the vaccination program.

The latest attack by the Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank has been going on for eight days now. Since August 28 Cease fire in Gaza, at least 33 Palestinians have been killed and 130 have been hurt. Most of them have been hurt in Jenin.

At least six Palestinians were killed in the attack on Namaa College, where people were hiding. Dozens more are buried under the rubble.

German foreign minister goes to the Middle East to help push for a cease fire in Gaza

Berlin has said that Annalena Baerbock will be leaving for a trip to the Middle East today. This comes as talks to end the Israeli war on Gaza continue.

A spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry, Kathrin Deschauer, said that Baerbock will leave for Saudi Arabia this evening and meet with Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud there.

Delschauer said that the talks will be mostly about “the dramatic situation in the region” and “the ongoing attacks by the radical Islamist Houthi militia from Yemen on international shipping.”

After that, Baerbock will go to Jordan to meet with her counterpart, Ayman Safadi, to talk about “coordinating humanitarian aid for the people in Gaza.”

After that, she’ll go to Israel to meet with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Foreign Minister Israel Katz.

Deschauer said, “These talks will be mostly about plans for an immediate and urgently needed humanitarian ceasefire. This should free the hostages and bring aid to the people of Gaza.”

After that, Baerbock will go to the controlled West Bank to meet Khalid Mustafa, the prime minister of the Palestinian Authority

There will be eleven trips to the Middle East since October 7 for Baerbock. This is her ninth trip to Israel.

Gallant says that troops in the West Bank are “eradicating terrorist organizations.”

“We are getting rid of terrorist groups all over Judea and Samaria (the occupied West Bank) because terrorism is on the rise again,” Israel Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said in a statement released by his office.

“There is no other option than to eliminate these terrorist organizations with all available forces and personnel.”

The Israeli military has been conducting extensive operations throughout the occupied West Bank for the past seven days to Cease fire in Gaza. One of these attacks took place in Jenin, a population of roughly 50,000 residents.
