According to Indian news sources, Abhishek has spoken out against these accusations in an interview with a British Indian news outlet.
In an interview with “Bollywood UK,” Abhishek is claimed to have displayed his wedding ring and stated, “I am still married.”
He was upset that false information was being spread about his and Aishwarya Rai Divorce, saying, “I don’t have anything to say about these rumours, but it saddens me that people spread false information.”

Indian media have been full of rumours about the couple for a year now, especially since they have been seen going to events separately a lot of the time.
When the Bachans attend a function, Abhishek is often seen strolling in with his parents rather than Aishwarya Rai and their daughter Aaradhya. Adding fuel to the fire, Abhishek recently liked an article on divorce, which made the reports of their split even stronger.
Several Indian news sites said in December 2023 that Aishwarya Rai had left the Bachchan home.
Reports also said that Amitabh Bachchan gave his daughter Shweta Nanda a fancy house in Juhu, which was said to make Aishwarya Rai angry.
