During an interview on the Lex Fridman show (Episode #442), Donald Trump stated unequivocally that he wants to go on Joe Rogan Podcast.
Rogan is renowned as one of the world’s best conversationalists, but Trump has no plans to go on the popular show anytime soon. Trump responded: “I guess I’d do it, but I haven’t been asked, and I’m not asking them.” This made it plain that he is not aggressively seeking an offer.
Trump talked about what people thought was a disagreement between him and Rogan, especially after Rogan said nice things about RFK Joe Rogan podcast and Trump replied with less nice things.
But Trump played down any disagreement by saying that he likes Rogan but doesn’t know him personally. “I only see him when I walk into the arena with Dana [White] and I shake his hand,” Trump told us.
Even though he praised Joe Rogan Podcast skills, Trump made it sound like their different political views might change the situation.
Even though Trump called Rogan “kind of a liberal guy,” he liked that Rogan supported RFK Jr., who Trump also admires. In the end, Trump made it clear that there is no real tension or negotiation about his possible appearance on Rogan’s show.
