Fortnite Season 4, which is appropriately named “Absolute Doom,” will unleash a Marvel-themed battle starring beloved characters such as Gwenpool, Doctor Doom, War Machine, and even a Jonesy that looks like Captain America. The trailer for the new season hints at a huge fight between good and evil, where new weapons, skills, and player choices will play a big part.
This time, Epic Games brings the Marvel world back to Fortnite, continuing a long history of fun partnerships. Doctor Doom’s attempt to use Pandora’s Box’s power will be at the center of an exciting storyline, and players will have to choose a side in a major battle.
New guns, like Dual Micro SMGs, and possible skills, like Captain America’s shield and War Machine’s arsenal, look like they will change the way you play. Beginning in September, a unique Battle Pass Quest will let players get a brand-new version of Doctor Doom.
Today, August 16, is the start of Season 4. To celebrate, players who visit the island for 10 minutes will get the Peelverine Plush Back Bling and XP in September. The Disney Horizons Live stream, which shows all the D23 news, will go on until August 16th.
