Reports say this is the second time the Canadian government has arrested her. The first time was when they caught her with multiple passports.
As a part of the cabin crew, Hina Sani was caught in Toronto on PIA Flight PK-789. On Friday, Canadian customs officials took away several of her passports.
This occurred after Sani embarrassed the country’s flag carrier with a series of scams.
The crew member and two other passengers from the same flight were initially detained but were later released following an investigation.
Soon after, PIA management grounded a crew member and stated that further action would be taken based on the investigative report from Canadian Customs.
A PIA official told the media that the firm was cooperating with Canadian authorities and that the suspended crew member will face additional administrative and legal action based on the investigation’s research.
The squad is planning to return to Pakistan over the weekend.
When Maryam Raza, another PIA flight maid, fled to Canada last month, she tarnished Pakistan’s reputation.
