Humayun and Yasir react to Firdous Jamal Harsh words

Firdous Jamal

Veteran actor Firdous Jamal has never been afraid to say what he really thinks about the biggest stars in the TV industry, even when it’s not a good thing. This is something that TV shows take advantage of, knowing that the actor from Pyarey Afzal‘s unusual views will make people start talking and their hearts racing.

Firdous most recently said on Facebook that star Mahira Khan’s looks were nothing special and that anyone who thought otherwise was “crazy.” But Firdous Jamal has harshly criticized more than one A-lister. He also thought that Gentleman star Humayun Saeed, whose acting credits include the hit show Merey Paas Tum Ho and Netflix’s The Crown, might as well be a Z-lister.

“Humayun Saeed?” Firdous Jamal asked in a fake confused tone. “Is that Mr. Marlon Brando?” What the heck is he? People have given him chances, but he takes them all and doesn’t let anyone else have a shot!”

What does Humayun himself have to say about Firdous Jamal harsh review of his performance as a star and actor? It turns out that Humayun has chosen the right thing to do and doesn’t have anything to say about it. Another way to say this is that Humayun has nothing new to say that Yasir Hussain hasn’t already said. After seeing Yasir’s IG Story, or rather, a picture of Yasir’s Story, Humayun shared what Yasir had already written on his own Story.

“He’s the biggest star in Pakistan, and I love Humayun Saeed,” the Lahore Se Aagay character wrote. Yasir wrote the rest of his message in Urdu and said, “But in my opinion, Firdous Jamal is also a good artist.”

Yasir said, “It’s not right that networks still call him and ask him these kinds of questions at his age.” He was implying that shows stir up trouble on purpose by asking Firdous his (by now) well-known thoughts on Pakistani stars.

There is a funny joke that Yasir has for people who keep bringing up Firdous’s opinions on Pakistan’s famous people. “Just ask him once how he feels about Mahira and Humayun, get him to record his answer on stamp paper, and then please leave the rest of us in peace.”

But until the right stamp paper is made, neither Firdous nor the people who interviewed him are going to change their minds. “Take it or leave it,” Firdous has told his crowd without apologizing: “This is how I am.”
