Nimra Khan, an actress, fought off her attackers and stopped them from kidnapping her.
The star was upset by what happened, and she broke down in tears in a video that was shared on social media as she talked about it.
Nimra Khan said that the scary event happened the day before, when she was almost taken away. She said that three armed guys stopped near her while she was waiting for her car outside of a hotel.
At gunpoint, they tried to drag her into their car against her will. But Nimra fought back against her enemies and began running towards the sidewalk.
Even though she was in a terrible situation, she said that no one close helped her.
Nimra talked about her fears in an emotional speech. She said that she was afraid that the armed men who were chasing her could have shot her. The family inside the car and the hotel staff helped her after she was able to stop the moving car.
“If women aren’t safe in Pakistan, should we really be celebrating Pakistan Day?” Nimra asked her fellow citizens as she thought about what had happened. Is it safe for anyone to say that their sister, wife, daughter, or mother is in Pakistan? Sad to say, the answer is no.”
Since then, the video has gone viral, with people on social media showing support for Nimra Khan and calling for the people who tried to kidnap her to be caught.
Many people are angry about what happened and want tighter rules to make sure women across the country are safe.
