Orya Maqbool Jan arrested by the FIA in Lahore

News Spreaded that Orya Maqbool Jan arrested by the FIA in Lahore. The Cybercrime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested anchor Orya Maqbool Jan in Lahore on Thursday, according to Express News.

Azhar Siddique, Jan’s lawyer, says that he was arrested because of posts on social media about the Mubarak Sani case. He is being held at the Gulberg, Lahore, FIA Cybercrime office right now.

Siddique says that they have not been given information about the First Information Report (FIR). According to Siddique, they haven’t been told much about the FIR and think the FIA doesn’t have the right to handle this case. They also said they would be making strong cases against the charges.

It is likely that Orya Maqbool Jan will be presented before a judicial magistrate later today.
