APP reports on Tuesday that China’s planned Chang’e 6 robotic research mission will be launch on Friday, May 3, at the same time as Pakistan’s historic ICUBE-Q mission to the moon.

Live coverage of the launch event will be available on IST’s website and social media sites. After returning to Earth, the mission’s goal is to gather lunar surface samples for scientific analysis.

The National Space Agency of Pakistan (SPARCO) and Shanghai University (SJTU) in China are working together to design and develop the satellite ICUBE-Q.

Pakistan’s iCube-Q CubeSat satellite, created by IST, will be participating in the mission. Small satellites recognized for their uniform size and design. “CubeSats,” are essential to space exploration education, technology advancement, and scientific study.

Pakistan‘s participation in this mission to the moon shows how dedication shows for space exploration. And how it works with China to improve science and technology around the world.
