Macklemore, an American rapper, has found success with his latest song, Hind’s Hall, which freely condemns the widespread genocide going on in Gaza. He is one of many famous people who speak out for Palestinians.

The Guardian newspaper says that Hind’s Hall is named after the Columbia University building that was changed from Hamilton Hall by protesting students to honour Hind Rajab, a five-year-old child who was killed in Gaza.

“Where does genocide fit into your definition, huh? It’s against the law for students to camp out on the lawn and occupy the quad, so you should call the police and their squad.” Macklemore raps about how the cops in the US are cracking down on student protests. College students in the US made news when they held protests to show support for those suffering in the Middle East, especially in Gaza.

Hind’s Hall made a number of music rank, and Forbes said that it sold 6,773 copies in its first week on sale. The publication said that the song got off to a great start on several lists thanks to strong sales, which greatly powered the single and made it a big win for the Grammy winner.

The song did well on three different Music graphs, and it started at number 7 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales list. Macklemore’s fans, many of whom share his values, really liked Hind’s Hall. It’s only the second time the rapper has been on the top 10 list without his former partner Ryan Lewis.

Hind’s Hall also got the most sales when it first came out on the Rap Digital Song Sales list. Only the most popular rap songs in the country are on the Rap Digital Song sales list. Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” was still at the top of the charts, so Macklemore almost got his first single number 1.

Hind’s Hall went straight to number 3 on that list, which also has rap, hip-hop, and R&B. Macklemore stuck to his beliefs and said that the money from his latest album would be used to help Palestinian refugees.
