Closed Monal

The Supreme Court of Pakistan upheld its earlier decision when it turned down review requests that questioned its choice to closed Monal, La Montana, Gloria Jeans, and other restaurants from the National Park area.

In a short ruling, the court said that the restaurants had decided on their own to close within three months.

The requests for review were called “disrespectful,” and it was emphasized how important it was to keep the promise to close the establishments.

Decision of closed Monal

The Supreme Court had earlier told the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to make it a priority to lease these restaurants in other places and closed Monal.

But the court has now taken back this comment, so new leases no longer get special treatment.

The order also made it clear that the court’s decisions must be followed exactly as written, with no changes.

The Supreme Court orders that closed Monal and be moved from Margalla Hills National Park.

Thursday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan released a 25-page decision about the move of the Monal Restaurant from the Margalla Hills National Park.

The ruling, written by Pakistan’s Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, stresses the basic rights to life and respect, which are written into the Constitution in Articles 9 and 14.

The decision says, “articles 9 and 14 of the Constitution say that everyone has the right to life and to live it with dignity. This includes the right to live in a world where all species are plentiful.” Scientists are sure that if the Earth loses all of its birds, animals, insects, trees, plants, clean rivers, and air and dirt that aren’t polluted, it will be the start of our destruction. The results of scientific studies show that everything in nature has a worth and a purpose.

The court order says that on September 11 to closed Monal, the Wildlife Board will take over the restaurants Monal, La Montana, and Gloria Jean’s. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Islamabad Capital Territory Police will be there to help them.

When the buildings are taken down, the exits to the area will be blocked off so that wildlife doesn’t get hurt and the trees in the National Park aren’t damaged. The trash will be taken away properly and thrown away outside of the National Park’s boundaries.

It is up to the Wildlife Board to figure out the best way to use the mountain ridge where these places were.

They might talk to scientists and experts to figure out whether the foundations of these buildings should be taken down or used for something else. As an important part of the National Park, the land must be fixed up as soon as possible.

Also brought up was the fact that the deal between the CDA and Monal Restaurant had already ended.

The judge told the director general of the Environmental Protection Agency and the secretary of the Ministry of Climate Change to work together to look at the damage to the environment at the Monal Restaurant and other buildings in the area. They are supposed to do what needs to be done to stop the world from getting worse to be closed Monal.
