Following her cancer diagnosis in March, the Princess wrote an emotional post on X about the hard times she and her family have had over the past nine months. She wrote, “I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.” She was thankful to have reached this important point.

Kate, said in a video that went with the post that she is starting a “new phase of recovery” and is looking forward to “taking on a few more public engagements” in the coming months. Her illness was first made public in March, but the type of cancer she had was not given away. She first had a “course of preventive chemotherapy,” and in June she said she was “making good progress” in her recovery.
Kate knew she still had a long way to go, but she said, “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus.” She also helped people who were going through similar problems and told them to keep their hope. “To everyone who is still going through their own cancer journey: I am still with you, hand in hand.”
