Measles outbreak in Punjab claims 14 children's lives
In Punjab, 14 young people have died because of the current measles outbreak. The measles spread that has killed many people has been noticed by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
A lot of districts, like Pattoki, Khanewal, and Sharqpur, have been hit by the terrible situation. Details show that 12 deaths were reported in Pattoki and Khanewal. In addition, two more people sadly died in Sharqpur.
There are more and more people with measles in the neighbourhoods of Pattoki. Six more children are said to be in very bad shape.

In the last few days, it has killed six people in Khanewal’s Kabirwala tehsil, and 48 more people are being treated in hospitals.

In Burewala, 11 kids have been identified with this and have been taken to the tehsil hospital to get better. Unfortunately, the disease has killed two children from the same family in Sharqpur Sharif, and another child is fighting for their life in the hospital.
Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif scolded health workers for not being able to handle the situation properly.
