The Federal Cabinet Division has released the official list of public holidays for the year and Ashura 2024. The list includes a lot of different holidays and events.
This list includes both national and religious holidays, making it easier for people and companies to know when important days are coming up.
Ashura 2024
The Report says that the holidays for Ashura during Muharram will be on July 16 and 17, Independence Day is on August 14, and Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) is on September 16.
The last two events of the year are Iqbal Day on November 9 and Quaid-e-Azam’s Birthday on December 25.
For people who follow Islamic customs, the holidays of Shab-e-Meraj are on February 7 and Shab-e-Barat on February 25.
Basant Panchami is on February 14, Shivratri is on March 8, Holi is on March 24, Dulahandi is on March 25, Good Friday is on March 29, Easter breaks are from March 31 to April 1, Baisakhi is on April 13, Eid-ul-Rizwan for the Baha’i community is on April 21, Buddhist Purnima is on March 23, and Nowruz, the Parsi New Year, is on August 15.
Aside from that, bank holidays and hoidays of Ashura 2024 have been set. The first bank holiday of the year is January 1. It also says that January 1 can be used as a New Year’s break.
