In an embarrassing mistake, the federal government changed its mind late at night regarding Petrol Price, their earlier announcement that the price of petrol will be reduced by Rs. 15.4 per litre. The finance minister said that the price of patrol would be reduced by Rs. 4.74 per liter.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spokeswoman said that petrol price of high-speed diesel will be reduced by Rs. 15.4 and Rs. 7.9 per liter, respectively.

The prime minister was also highlighted in the statement, claiming that government actions have resulted in a significant decline in inflation.
