In a news conference with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations in Lahore, famous Pakistani screenwriter Khalil ur Rehman Qamar talked about the trouble caused by his meeting with a woman late at night before kidnapping.
When reporters asked him about it, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar said he hadn’t pushed anyone and that a doctor had told him to stay out of the sun for five years for health reasons.
“I did not message anyone to force them.” For 27 years, I’ve seen how girls in our entertainment business dress and talk. “This is nothing new to me, and I had no idea she was alone at home,” Khalil ur Rehman Qamar said.
When asked if the cops had asked him why he met the woman late at night, Qamar said, “I’m sick right now, and my doctor told me to stay out of the sun for five years.” No matter what gender, we have talks at night, even if my doctor hadn’t told me to. I’ve met guys late at night before, so why is this one different?
It said a woman called Qamar and asked him to come over to her house to talk about a play project. When he got there, armed guys took him hostage and stole money from him. Reports say that Qamar paid the attackers a lot of money, and they let him go.
The kidnappers also took Qamar’s watch, cell phone, cash, and swiped Rs250,000 from his ATM card.
Before the attackers ran away, Qamar was blindfolded and left in an empty area. More research is being done on this topic.
