Jonathan H Smith, better known as Lil Jon Muslim now. An American DJ and rapper, has become a Muslim. A Turkish newspaper said that Lil Jon told a large crowd at the King Fahad Mosque in Los Angeles, California, on the first Friday of Ramadan 2024 that he had become a Muslim.
A video of Smith saying the shahada in both Arabic and English with the imam’s help went viral on TikTok and other video sites.

He thanked his fans for their support on Instagram, where he has more than a million followers, by posting something with the words “Alhamdulillah” and a prayer hands emoji. Fans wrote lots of congratulations in the comments.
Smith Lil Jon Muslim, who was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1972, became famous in the early 2000s for songs like “Turn Down for What,” “Let’s Go,” “Act a Fool,” and “Yeah.” The latter song, which he wrote with Usher and Ludacris, won him a Grammy for Best Rap Collaboration.
