Shahid Afridi Applauds Virat Kohli Visiting Pakistan

Shahid Afridi, a former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, said on Saturday that he was glad that Indian cricket star Virat Kohli Visiting Pakistan. Afridi said those things at a Karachi tape-ball cricket event, where he was very happy about Kohli’s action.

“I was expecting Virat to say something like that.” He was confident when he said, “I welcome Virat, whether he comes to the PSL or with the Indian team.” This showed that he agreed with Kohli’s open-mindedness.

Virat Kohli’s want to visit Pakistan was first shown during a video call with Shehroze Kashif, a Pakistani mountain climber, in 2022. During the chat, Virat Kohli said he want to Visiting Pakistan soon and pointed out that more and more famous people from around the world are going there.

Along with his words about Kohli, Afridi also showed support for Saim Ayub, a young Pakistani opener. This showed how important it is to bring up new players for the national team.

Saim Ayub is in England with the Pakistan team for a four-match T20I series against the host country that starts on May 22. The team traveled to England on Wednesday, having just won the game 2-1 over Ireland.

Following their series against England, the Men in Green will head to the United States for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The 2009 winners will start their tournament on June 4 against co-host USA. On June 9, they will play their much-anticipated rivals India.
